Get Carter Suggestion - drop Feds, Legs, Griffin, Kebe and bring in a quality replacement for Long on loan.

 And it might not have made the slightest difference to our results. For heaven's sake man, give up on your Coppell bashing - he's long gone - it's over - we're on our second manager since Mr C.

Ferris Apparently after the Watford game, he just sat in the changing room and didn’t say anything, literally nothing. In the end Nigel Gibbs just said to the players just get showered and go home.

Also sounds like the fringe players are getting pissed off by the lack of opportunity despite how badly we're doing.

a well earned point today at coventry, and it was good to see le fondre with another assist. (3 now in 3 games, 1 goal?) top work.

Isn't it time we dropped McAnuff as captain?

Rodgers had the right idea with making Pearce captain.

yes, but at the risk of making him unhappy and losing him in the summer? part of giving him the captaincy was to keep him here.

pearce for captain is madness. gorkss yes.

Really? No one has come out and said that. The only thing said by anyone at the club is that McAnuff is the right person to be captain.

Rather than pissing about scapegoating a captain and pretending that giving an armband to someone different will changes things, I'd far rather we focused on the teams playing deficiencies and put someone in central midfield who is in some vague sort of form, or can at least pass the ball with a bit of creativity.

When will Brian Howard be given a chance? Karacan's form has been a bit shaky and Tabb has been a waste of wages ever since he signed for the club.

A bruiser in Leigertwood and a ball player in Howard could be the combination we need.

Maybe not getting it wrong as such, but I do question the decision to start Hunt on the right in Kebe's absence on Saturday.

Robson-Kanu has previously shown himself to be better than Hunt on the wing and has been McDermotts third choice winger for some time now. It just seems a bit like the easy decision to play Hunt there after Le Fondre and Church performed well upfront together as it avoided having to really make a decision and drop one of them. I'd be a bit miffed if I were Robson-Kanu.

I can't believe the number of people who've had to be informed of this.

If HRK was injured I'd have rather gone with Obita. Or Cummings if Griffin is fit. or Karacan. or Howard on the left and McAnuff on the right.

Karacan on the wing, or Howard? How exactly is that a better option than Hunt?

Obita should come in. Out and out winger, superb crosser of the ball and quick feet.
