SpaceCruiser Actually, that reminds me. I had a beer with a Frenchman last night (he also works for the Met O) and I told him I'd visited the Waterloo battlefield back in July. He wasn't impressed.

Well it is probably just a field, not a lot to be impressed with these days.

It *is* a field, but there's also a big hill with a statue of a lion on top of it and there's a panorama depicting the battle. Plus a waxworks museum and a pub across the road from the hill.

Terminal Boardom Anyone remember Jimmy Kebe's first touch when he came on as a sub in the Prem? First touch rocketted the ball about twenty miles away. My first reaction, along with thousands of others, was to pmsl. Now, if Cedric can bring this sort of entertainment, I might just have to pop down and have a bloody good laugh

I used to bloody love Bas Savage!!!  Another big striker who can't win a header, with a poor touch, will bring great entertainment so long as he is a tryer.

Did he think you were Prussian, then? 'Cos it was von Blucher who really won it.

Another person fooled by the anti-Wellington brigade! Blucher and his Prussians certainly did their bit and they turned the tide at a crucial point but don't denigrate Wellington's leadership throughout the battle.

As far as chat up lines go, that isn't going to impress anyone.

Next time tell him you have a big dong (even if it's not true)

When Cedric scores, we're on the pitch.

So it's basically Forbury Gardens with a waxwork museum.

I'm sure that's just lazy journalism - someone editor who knows nothing sees "new signing "and puts 2 and 2 together.

SSN just did a championship feature saying hes set to start, while Karacan continues his internal suspension after his reaction to being substituted against Watford.

Wow, that seems to fly in the face of established RFC policy with speculative signings. Can't see it happening myself but if true, they must have seen something pretty darned good.

McD has already said there's no chance of him playing. As a previous poster stated it's just shoddy journalism.

Didn't see any reaction, probably because I was too busy seething about McDermott's clueless substitutions in that game too! Can understand why he was annoyed, being moved to right back and then substituted after that.
