Great game(Utd were top, we were chasing in second place), great atmosphere...Warnock getting involved in a fracas yet again if I remember rightly.
Don't know if it was the best ever, but one of half a dozen that stick out in the memory

Awful shout...as is the man utd FA cup game. Can't think you two have been to any of the old good games judging by that.

Wolves at home in the play-offs was very loud before they scored, remember the deafening whistles every time wolves got the ball...something I hadn't seen before at a Reading game. Wigan also when we won 2-1, people invading the pitch and the roof literally came off. Also chelsea at home in the prem during the evening game when bikey scored, that was loud and there was a few incidents between fans. I remember chelsea fans saying " we expected all that at the likes of stoke....not reading". Very tense atmosphere, nothing beats the first two though.

Thats obviously an attempt at a smart remark, but even in the championship stoke were loud.

Im not sure if they were playing Stoke in the cup or just comparing us in general because we were similar size clubs, but I remember that comment sticking out.

Thought the Wolves chasing game in champ with the early own goal, was right up there. Singing "we'll be top by Saturday!" but sadly we've yet to reach that high tide again.

The Man Utd 1st prem game was awesome, but the ultimate is still the Wigan play-off semi, thought the East stand was gonna collapse it was rocking so much.

An evening game - maybe a Friday evening game against Forest, 8-9 years ago. I think we won 1-0...

and that 3-3 nightmare against Stoke. We were pants.

The Mad Stad crowd is only ever really louswhen they've got something to be annoyed about - they're far more effective at being angry with someone else than with being positive for their own team, so I'd have to say one of the Sheff Utd games.

Probably when Paddy Kenny wasn't sent off for handball outside the box.
