You could attend DDD10 here in Reading, it's a great event and as usual, free to all.

Go drinking in London safe in the knowledge you won't have to waste two hours in the afternoon.

That's what I was hoping but will still try, likely in vain for a ticket.

Last game there was a Wednesday evening in Jan 2008. Great away trip and good loud support. I think it was Ballack that got their only goal, and Harper and Lita combined to miss a sitter.

Can't wait to have another go at 'em.

Glad this game got rearranged earlier rather than later as - imho - we have a greater chance of not losing this match as a result.

Although we have never won at the Bridge and the last time we beat them in the league was in 1930

I expect stats like that to be a feature of commentaries and BBC previews, even though we didn't play them a single time in the league between that 1930 win and 2006.

"Not won any of the last four meetings" doesn't sound quite a overwhelming, but is equally true.

"Chelsea have only beaten Reading once in the League at Stamford Bridge since 1929" - I can't imagine that getting an airing either.

We rained on their Boxing Day parade in 2007, which was nice.

...apart from the fact it was 2006 and Essien ... not bad.

... had just arrived that PM at Mangotfield FCs Social Club - not long after Didier had put them back in front following Leroy's equaliser. Watched the last 10' or so and the roars from the Brizzle folk when we got our 2nd in off of Essien's midriff with about 5' left, were stupendous!

... a year on Chelski were sharing 8 goals at home with a crap Villa side; Barry equalised in injury time with a pen and Sheva had brought them back from 2 goals down just after HT. No 'ogs' amongst that lot either? :?

...meanwhile we were the early KO at Wet Sham - D1-1 Gunnar got sent off on the half hour mark, I think, and our season imploded from then on - 9 defeats and a draw in the next 10 - included 2 cup games where our Ressies were shaded by Spuds. :|
