I think about half the 20 teams could go down this season - all depends on who starts well etc.

Overall I think Swansea are nailed on bottom 3 (lost 2 best players and have a new manager without English league experience). Then probably any 2 of Norwich, West Brom, Wigan, Stoke (playing badly at the end of last season), Norwich and Southampton.

Reckon West Ham and RFC will be ok. Second season will be the worry again and when you need to spend big to stay up.

Do Norwich have double the chance of staying up?

I know that as a RFC fan I am supposed to hate Swansea, but I cannot agree with you that they are " nailed on bottom 3". Michael Laudrup is an experienced Manager, in a number of leagues, and as we all know, previously one of the best players ever! His style of play fits entirely with the 'Swansea Way'. I would put them down, not only to survive, but to be one of the 'surprise' teams of the season. (Think Newcastle of last season....). They will be bringing 'top' players from European teams, to the games, along with some standouts from the 'home team' of last season. You are correct in think that they are an 'unknown force', but this will be a problem for their opponents, as much as it is for themselves......

Norwich, Wigan and West Brom are all in danger. Certainly more so than Reading, who I believe will be 15th or above!

Colours to the mast, pick your relegation candidates

With two games gone and transfer dealing done 'til January, who do you think will go down. Pick three and we'll see what the collective early season wisdom of HNA is like come the end of the season.

West Ham look good and have strengthened their team with Diame and Carroll - they wont go down and i reckon will finish top 10
