Look at it this way - almost every team finishing outside the Top 4 will have at least one spell during the season where they pick up 1 point in 4 games - we're just having one of ours at the start of the season.

Spot on advice. We can gnash our teeth but influence nothing. How anyone deals with any given situation says more about the collective or the individual.
