Question

Leeds. Wow, scum team, scum fans and scum manager. I watched that in shock. Not that the Sheff Weds fans were saints aswell. Anyway, just wondering, has anything like that ever happened in a match that we have been involved in?? Not that I would think so, seeing as we are a nice respectable club with nice fans...

Many moons ago a match against Bizzle City the players had to leave the field when the City fans ripped up the terrace and threw concrete at our keeper. Terry Cooper the City manager was prepared to award the game to us unless they stopped.

Didn't a Cardiff scummer punch one of our female stewards?

Just seen it on youtube. What a bellend. Football seems to be on a bit of a downer at the moment.

double d Question

tell me what you think about me?
I buy my own diamonds and I buy my own rings
Only ring your cell-why when I'm feelin' lonely
When it's all over please get up and leave

The shoe on my feet, I've bought it
The clothes I'm wearing, I've bought it
The rock I'm rockin', I've bought it
'Cause I depend on me

As wrong as this is. Its nice to see football is still not 100% sanitised and all about happy clappers and "family days out". Good that there is still an undercurrent there and cannot be completely tamed.

Saying that, still throw the pleb in jail.

Banter is banter, BUT there is a clear line you don't cross, we are all guilty of giving it large (west stand excused) but nowadays its just unacceptble...god lest not have the 70/80s again...

I remember Millwall fans throwing a spark plug wrench at Simon Sheppard back in 95. He dropped it.

Apparently the Leeds matey had breached his banning order 3 times. Kirkland was being a bit of a drama queen though.

I'm sure he made the most of it (he is a footballer) but in the replays his head did seem to snap back pretty sharpish.

I think you'll find that it was a clanger that he dropped.

I remember it well. I had been in The Butlers with a girl I was at Uni with and her mates who were all City fans. I stood with them in the away end and enthusiastically celebrated our two goals. When it all kicked off I decided that being a Reading fan in the midst of City would not let me see 30. It took some persuasion to get the police to unlock the gate and let me out!
