What date is this match going to be on?

Think I'm in for it.

Hopefully SU will bring a fair number of fans. We have a great history with them in the last few years of quite fiery, physical games so fingers crossed for the same!

ITV cannot wait to broadcast the return of Marcus Williams and the rapturous reception he will receive.

Selfishly pretty happy with this tedious draw as I can't go and we've got a decent chance of progressing so hopefully something more fun in R5

Also away for this fixture (not with Silver Fox) so i'll take a winnable home draw.

Pleased with this. Should put up a challenge but at the same time reasonably good chance of winning. Right now I think most important is to get as many games under our belt that we can (and hopefully do) win to try and get a bit of confidence and form going and start performing in the league.

There were several seasons where we were both similar sized clubs finishing in similar positions. Looks like the gap will be closed a little next season tbf. :(

Won't be the same without Warnock at the helm but should be a good tie. Not bad.

No it won't. Warnock used to get really worked up when his teams were losing against us.

General consensus on their forum would suggest that they are disappointed with their draw at having to come to a ground with no atmosphere...

To be fair can't blame them, it's an incredibly disappointing draw for us as well in terms of 'FA Cup magic' and hardly one that is going to get people excited. However it's one that we have to win to keep morale up. To lose to a League one side will not do any good for our confidence, however I can see us playing the reserves and losing to Stevenage last season didn't do any harm for our league performance.

As a prediction I'll go 2-1 Reading

I know we are second bottom of the premier league but I was still surprised to see sheff utd fans call us shit and have the view that they should win against us... Surely as we proved against Crawley, even when we are not playing a full strength squad and not playing in top gear we still brushed away a decent league 1 side. I have never heard fans from league 1 be so confident they are going to beat a premier league side. Normally its the other way round isn't it?

If we play a full strength side with Pog, Kebe, Carrcico etc.. This should be a more than winnable game at home, I hope we don't make the same mistakes we made against Stevenage and underestimate them.

Completely agree, their supporters seem very cocky. I think most clubs with the odd League cup or FA Cup win like to look down on us as a 'small club'.

The fact of the matter is we have a vastly superior squad. The comment would you swap Blackman and Murphy for Hunt or Le Fondre is hilarious, they are two leagues below and even if we're not Premiership quality, we won the Championship last season with them so no I wouldn't swap them.

The only thing that will go against us is that the attendance is likely to be poor and their lot will see it as an opportunity to make a cupset. The league is a much more important priority for us.
