SLAMMED So the fact being 'people leaving early deserve stick'?

Thank you for agreeing with me.

Good night xx

Idiot hour x 2

No - they don't deserve stick.
Why don't ..... no wait, some people are beyond help.

TheLawnMowerMan
cmonurz You seem very confused. I made it quite clear in my post that I've no issue with people leaving the game early, I am absolutely 'letting people do what they want'.

But if you leave a game early and Reading enjoy a remarkable comeback win, you should expect, and take with good humour, a bit of a ribbing. I couldn't give two hoots if the ground is half empty in injury time. But if we win a game in injury time, I'll have a good old laugh at those sitting in their cars on the A33.

The bit I take issue with is that you consider it OK to give other people stick for leaving early.
What gives you that right?

My right as a human being to have an opinion and to air it?

But that's not my point, your wrath is best directed at others. By 'stick' what I thought I obviously meant was a light-hearted ribbing, and why you'd have a problem with that I don't know.

There's an Arsenal fan in my office who left the Carling Cup game at 2-4 down, he arguably missed one of the most exciting half hours football in his lifetime - the next day he copped a bit of banter in the office and took it in good humour.

I'll leave getting annoyed about people leaving early to others - ultimately it's only those who leave early who risk missing the action, but on here at least (and in the case above or equally the Reading fan on the floor below me at work who left the Chelsea game at 0-2) I'll enjoy it heartily when they do that.

I really don't understand why people have a problem with other people exercising free will?
Only point I'm trying to make - try not to judge others.

However, those trying to judge others need to be judged.
That's my job 8)

It's HNA? isn't it?
I hope we all have a sense of humour, although I guess many on here are just angry or "otherwise".

I really do worry however about people being so angry about others just doing what they want, which is they right to do .....

Can I leave this thread now or will I be criticised for leaving before the end?

I could never leave early even if the team are getting mullered. Primarily because I might miss something, whether its a red card, 22 man brawl, fantastic goal, late fightback. Never understood why people do but then again, its their right I spose.
