Actually one rather big thing has changed. One less winnable home game has passed us by.

If you think there are 15 points left in us this season then you're on drugs mate. We are nailed on for the drop. Totally given up after that shower of shit performance today, both on the pitch and the same negative tactics.

Wigan are in a worse place than us, or were, and they played fantastic football. They were in control from the off, kept possession, passed the ball around with confidence and patience, and ripped us a new arsehole time and time again.

Additionally, my spell checker has just tried to change 'arsehole' to 'borehole'. How fcuking apt!

A big 3 points went a begging today.

With Everton, Man Utd and Arsenal away to come it is a must home win against the Villa.

Watching that shower of sh*t today not perform, Villa are likely to p*ss all over us.

As Sparta says, 5 wins from 11 isn't going to happen. We are down. It isn't the end of the world, but very frustrating. Mainly because when we went down in 2008 it was totally our fault and now the same thing is happening again.

As people were pointing out on BBCRB, today's appalling performance was a replica of the Fulham capitulation last time we went down.

Exactly that. In our hands, get ourselves in a 'reasonable' position to try and stay up, then throw it away with a spineless performance against a team lower than us. Bet Wigan stay up like Fulham did too!

Just like to chip in on the (relatively) positive thread. Today was awful, no question. But with 11 games left, to give up now is fking stoopid.

Totally agree. If Wigan's style is bottom of the league football then we certainly have no right to grace this league at all. Total f** embarrassment.

The players we bought in during January and the team selection today was an indication of a club preparing for Championship football next year. The club know this and were not prepared to back the manager,

If you buy div 1 players you will eventually end up in Div 1

And buying premier league experience players and buying big has worked so well for QPR... Its about bringing the right players in and selecting the correct side for that opposition, it doesn't matter where the player has come from.

IMO I am ok with the signings we made, its the selections and tactics which have oxf*rd us over. Like how McDermott thought we could out match opposition playing 4-4-2 system early on is beyond me. We are a promotion side, our first thought should be we are not losing then work from there, not lets win this game even if its Man U, Arsenal and even a away game to anywhere.

To the OP - I completely agree. How can people write us off when there are 33 points to play for & we're 1 point from safety??

Get some balls people - yes today was diabolical but if anyone thought we'd win all the 'must wins' then they were off their head quite frankly. 4 wins and 1 draw might even be enough to survive.

We are just as likely to beat Everton or City than say QPR or Villa - you just don't know.

Better to get the completely sh1tty performance over with now rather than later on. We have time to get it right still..
