yappy Leigertwood not travelled due to injury.

Kebe, Roberts & HRK all travelled but won't be playing. Bit strange that despite their injuries they've travelled, whereas Mikele hasn't.

Hmm, Leigertwood "Injured" and Brian McDermott saying he's got one more signing coming to Leeds that he's been working on for a while now? Dare we put 2+2 together?

It could just be that Legs' injury requires specific treatment here. Whereas Kebe and Roberts can carry on with theirs' with our physios and in normal facilities.

There doesn't always have to be some devious conspiracy behind things.

We all know Adkins doesn't rate leg as a first team player but surely just a coincidence? Can 100% see him going this window to a mill wall or shef Wednesday type team

Another person who has forgotten that Leigertwood is an absolute tank in the Championship.

Used to be, but memories seem to be short since his finish against Forest. For two seasons prior to last season he was very hot and cold; very much a confidence player and BM on a few occasions had to pull him out of the first team for his own good. When confident and fully fit he was a solid def.midfielder, but last season he fell to pieces and we now have better players who are in front of him.

They ran away with League 2 to get into the League 1 this season. A good test as friendlies can produce.

Also 4th in the all-time portugese league record and play in a 25,000 seater stadium. Looking forward to it.

Yep - and no matter just how good he was 2 seasons ago, does his game fit into the fast passing style that NA wants the team to play?

:| He started that season poorly (for him) but grew into it again becoming one of our best performer by the end and the previous season he was one of our best players. He's going to be lower down the pecking order over a year later and with a different style of play, but he's a good player to have if we need him, or for another chump team to buy.

He really didn't deteriorate last season, he was just screwed over by the system, his partners and a general lack of suitability for the PL.
