Based on the fact that Robson-Kanu has only played 45 mins the whole summer and Williams has missed the last few games then I would expect them to be on the bench. I wish we could find a way to fit Le Fondre into Adkins style of play but as we can't I can't see him starting. I would expect the starting 11 to be:-

Pogrebnyak

Bench: Federici, Kelly, Williams, Karacan, Le Fondre, Robson-Kanu, Morrison

Pogrebnyak has got to start if only because of his threat at set pieces and the hope that he may get onto the end of any McCleary or Drenthe's crosses. As we all know Le Fondre is only any use when we bring him on late in a game! I also have a funny feeling Akpan will start as he is more of a threat at set pieces and going forward generally.

You could see it that way I suppose, but it's not strictly true - I've not quoted what was said anywhere, just that there were several things said by NA that make me think that Feds could start....

What's wrong with that? Am I supposed to forget what NA said, and say that I think McCarthy will start?

If I quoted word for word the two or three comments he made, then I would understand STAR having an issue, but to pretend I wasn't there and didn't hear anything that fundamentally changed my view on who our #1 keeper might be, would be pretty ridiculous....

For the record, he did not say, "McCarthy is a crock of shit and Feds is far better"....
