Surprised you liked that given:
Issuing a Yellow Card to Martin when shoving the obnoxious, former Forest defender Chris Gunter forcibly to floor when it really deserved a Red.

They press and move together in a band up and down the pitch like the parallel ruler on a Technical Drawing Board – such is their precision

err ....nice

Mr Optimist B-Righton's slide down the table is good fun. Could be out of the play off positions by 5pm on Saturday. All the fans of other clubs who were saying they were an average, but well organised side, that won't last the pace and were not all that were laughed off as jealousy by the Barcelona of the south coast.

Still I am sure their massive attendances will be of consolation.

I recall NSC mocking my comment that their position at the top of the league was misleading due to the teams that they'd played, but it now seems that having had to face the might of Wolves, Ipswich and Rotherham, they are dropping back to the edge of the playoffs, which is probably where they belong this season.

Fair play, I didn't think they could be top and have gone unbeaten for so long without being genuine contenders... but those like you really called it.

Their unbeaten run contained more draws than wins, and they haven't won by more than one goal all season. By Christmas, I felt their focus was more on maintaining their unbeaten run than taking risks to go out and win the games. Now they haven't scored in 6 games....

Blackman is a strong lad, and I think he could easily play down the middle for us

Yes I agree - almost as if he was trying to be a real journalist!

That was a decent read.

However, I was somewhat disconcerted when I read the following line in the match preview: 'Reading may look to contain Derby and rely on the pace of Robson-Kanu on the break.'

From the Walsall forum:

Walsall are clueless about the advantage of taking throws, goal kicks quickly....they want to give the opponent every chance to be organized

One game against us and they've already picked up some of our habits.

I'm avoiding NSC as I really can't be bothered to read "tinpot", "sh*t supporters", "Reading really is a sh*t hole", "what a crappy club to support", "so glad I support Brighton", "What a crappy attendance"... and a whole host of one sided derogatory comments.

You have to laugh at Brighton, yes we may not be a "massive" club yet we've spent 3 seasons in the Premier League, compared to their.......remind me how many seasons?!

They bottled it last season and once they lose their right winger (their only decent player) they'll be average once again....

I wonder if Brighton let fans watch their training sessions, and which day do the team perfect their fouling on the blind side of the ref, and over reacting techniques which are such a big part of their game.

As far as I could see, the Kermie tackle was the only time they didn't over react (and Rosenior wasn't particularly badly hurt (no thanks to Kermie, to be fair).
