no agreed, but his track record suggests his contact at the club is very reliable, so he's worth listening to when he decides to pass something on.

Has never been anything less than a gentleman and a true professional in his time here and elsewhere. For those saying he's just trying to take a wage....well your all pcunts basically. True pcunts. He was the catalyst that got us into the premiership before and I should imagine that he wants this and sees this as his last chance to do something special at a relatively decent club.

Sure there are many footballers out there for number one, who will take the money and run, but he's a sportsman. He's gonna spend the nex few years talking about the game as a pundit, by all accounts. He wants his chance, so fukking let him have it.

News that Roberts' career is finished won't break officially until/unless the club manage to sign a decent striker in what is left of this transfer window.

Pull your fingers out Anton, Hammond and Adkins or 'Are you Madejski in disguise?'!

Useless wage sucking old timer. Would love to be proved wrong though. If we don't get a decent forward before the window closes the best we can hope for is a play off place IMO. I thought the objective was to win the league?

Jason Roberts is last season's Bryn Gunnarson. Why do we never learn to put retirees out to graze? They take up squad numbers and wages and contribute nothing except making our squad weaker!
