Snowflake Royal You are literally the only one who cares. No one else gives a shit about instant support to the standard of the first team for U8
18/23 games.

Give it a oxf*rd rest, you're bitching to yourself and the rest of us are fed up clicking on the thread for a useful update only to see you pissing and moaning about nothing for the 8 millionth time.

10000+ posts and you are still the village idiot.

That is your opinion, mine is different to yours. Therefore the rest of your post is incorrect. R & R gives the fans who like to know what is going on in the youngsters world some news that we wouldn't get otherwise. If only people who have an opinion would realize that other people may have different views and not say things like "The rest of us etc.". There is not one person who can claim to speak for everyone else, either on a forum like this or in any other aspect on this planet!

A report in a North East newspaper on Sunderland`s recent triallist`s states that Tyler Frost has played the 2 matches he is allowed to under the PL 2 rules. Sunderland apparently have been impressed with his performances, and the player has been told by Reading that he has no future at the club- not surprising as they let him go out on trial. Sunderland will now wait until Frost`s contract runs out.
The Royal`s U 23`s next match is on Monday next February 24th against Charlton in the final group A match of the PL 2 cup. The match is at Princes Park Dartford with a 1pm KO. Both teams have qualified out of the group into the last 16 knock out round, however the Royal`s need to win to top the group and get a home fixture. A draw or defeat will mean an away fixture at one of the other 7 group winners.

Sutekh Joseph Ajose and Imari Samuels have signed their first pro contracts

Nothing from Reading yet on the Ajose signing, he`s 18 and has been on trial with the Royals and previously was a Port Vale player.

To be fair to RFC, there IS an article on the Ajose signing. It was on the main site last night, as part of the Samuels signing.
Take a look.

Not surprised Frost has moved on. Always looked a neat and tidy player but didn’t quite have that X factor to make him stand out and seemed to be asked to play in what ever position we were short rather than nailing down selection in his own right (Pelle,Clement syndrome).
Hope he does well at Sunderland

We can also confirm that winger Joseph Ajose has signed a professional contract with the club.

The Hackney-born midfielder, who turns 18 in May, was last registered as a Port Vale youngster but after impressing on trial within our Academy, he now joins the Royals as a free agent to sign a contract which will keep in in RG2 until the summer of 2021.

Thanks, missed that- bit of confusion about his age - several places has 29/01/2001 not May https://www.premierleague.com/players/7 ... e/overview https://www.port-vale.co.uk/teams/youth ... eph-Ajose/

29/01/2001 is incorrect, he is still 17 with a birthday in May. Seems strange that Port Vale has it wrong- surely not so he could play before he was allowed to
Edit He must have been born in May 2002 which is 15 months different !! very strange.

That seems more like his DOB got mixed up with somebody else's at some point, in Port Vale's records

As expected nothing from Reading FC on this afternoon’s U23 match against Charlton in the last PL 2 group cup.
Charlton website has a preview and Charlton FC Twitter are covering the match- triallist in goal for the home team( Charlton must be the Man City of the championship !!!!) KO 1pm
Charlton are saying if they lose today they will be away to Group B winners Everton- if they are correct it also means if we draw or lose, we are away to Everton.

Yes and you won’t admit the coverage is pathetic- we don’t even know who is playing for Reading today !!!!
From the professional Charlton coverage we know Andresson is in goal, Abbey,Aluko and Mcgiff are playing as well
