East End Lady 6 hours 3 minutes

Presumably you're not an East Ender any more... It would take me 16hrs 10mins, not factoring in my slovenly demeanour.

Depends how quickly the chap holding the gun to my head made me walk, but about an hour and a half.

11 hrs 3 mins. Crap walk along A roads on the OP defined Google route though. Reckon I could take footpath along the Thames and it'd be more like 18 hrs. Given that I'd need some refreshments from river side taverns...make that 2 days.

Not a bad idea at all, actually...

I Googled it, The result was 200 miles (Plymouth) 3 Hours 6 Minutes. Google must have me down as Michael Gilkes.

Green Interested to see how close to the ground fellow loyal royals live. (TIP: If unsure and it's a long way, put it into google maps and select "walking" :) )

I find Google overestimates those times by about 20%.

50-55 minutes for me. Google says 1 hour 12 minutes, which would probably be about right walking back.

28 hours, but this is likely based on mere mortals, at worst those that get in your way ambling along without purpose. I reckon with a good chuff on I could do it in 20 hours, but either way I'd need an overnight stop which defats the object. Discussing the proximity of Syria to our doorstep recently we worked out that you could walk it at the Google pace in 6 months and thus inside the winter weather windows.

Is that six months including overnight breaks though?
