40 minutes, including a stop off at Deep Blue on the way. Generally longer coming back, the thirst gets the better of me once I reach Callaghans.

First half of the season, I'd say 40 hours, plus a bit.

Second half, I'd need to walk on water.

..... haven't walked it for quite a few years but back in the day, used to amble there (via the Queens Hd/'Shoes) and take about an hour - sometimes got lazy and bussed it from the top of Basingstoke Rd -> Bennet Rd.

Was a bit of an obstacle course before they finished the 'new' A33 bit at the end of Bennet Rd - bit like crossing the Somme (without the noise bullets shells and gas of course!) and quite 'hairy' for autumn/winter night games. :|

Green Is that six months including overnight breaks though?

10 hours a day I think we planned on, enough for a decent lunch break, a wash wherever there's a stream and a decent kip under the stars. At the end of the day you are escaping a hole and travelling through some pretty other holes with the promised land ahead of you as motivation.

Green Interested to see how close to the ground fellow loyal royals live. (TIP: If unsure and it's a long way, put it into google maps and select "walking" :) )

15 hours 49 minutes for me. Not a journey I'd ever attempt on foot LOL.

Guessed an hour.

Google says 1hr 1min.

Perth -> Darwin 754 hours
(Cheat boat to Bali)
Bali -> Calais 3055 hours
(Cheat Ferry to dover)
Dover->Madjeski 38 hours

Total Walking time: 5 months, 2 weeks, 6 days, 7 hours

At 10 hours walking per day: 1 year, 2 weeks, 6 days, 16 hours

Anyone up for doing the reverse? We'll meet somewhere around the India/Pakistan border I reckon
