Oh, we were doing so well.

Turns out you just probably didn't understand what I was saying. Oh well. Not much point in going through it again.

Extended-Phenotype If they are pretty hard to come by, it's my opinion that the club should make this clear in their declaration of intent. 7 players seems a pretty big ask, but then this target shouldn't really be declared with the confidence it was.

My only beef.

Well, we live and learn and I'm sure Anton is no different. I just hope people don't complain if we get more non-committal comments about transfer plans in future.

You say it like this is the first transfer window ever to happen and that football is a brand new sector for the club.

It's pretty new for Anton.

I think the real problem here is a joint issue of RFC oper8ing at a level which is both beyond the resources of our owner - whose bank balance and revenue streams in reality are probably something akin to that of a mortgage broker - and the ability of our players. Nothing that another relegation can't sort of course :!: I have every confidence we'd be very competitive in League 1. Perhaps that si what we're striving for. Would explain the continued selection of Chris Gunter :!:

Fancy a bet on whether we finish top half or bottom half Floyd?

Just a bit of gentle satire, Ian 8)

Luckily the division we are in so MINCE we cannot fail to finish outside the top 8, surely :?:

What odds would someone offer me for Reading to finish bottom half?

As bad as this division is, it's very tight, so one result here or there and we could easily tumble out.

KATSIA - Anton, another chap from Reading Football Club is on the phone. Wants to talk to you about Reading Football Club, football in general, transfer windows etc.

ANTON - I've told you before: not interested. I have the only consultant I need right here in the house. Now where were we; Sorry petal, squeak the toy once for each new player we should sign this window... <squeak> one, <squeak, squeak> two, three...

Sebastian I think he spoke too soon. We're back on track, now.

3 goals per game required from here on in to equal the 106 season....
