1 Swallow

by MeMeMe » 21 Sep 2013 18:36

Well, we weren't fantastic today but we did a very good job. And we still won... a very good sign.

Did you notice Blackmans non celebration after his goal, he just arrogantly stared at the fans as if to say "see that, up yours", at first I thought it was offside due to his reaction. However his goal had a very large slice of luck about it, and his only effort on goal in any form. 2 minutes after that he was muscled off the ball yet again. 1 swallow doesn't make a summer Blackman, or give you the right to act so arrogantly...O****rd off.

Personally think he'd have been justified running over spitting in the Reading "fans" faces ...... and the reactions above underline it

He didn't even need a goal as an excuse to hit back at the fans who have treated him like shit for the last 8 months. Don't blame him.

Whilst Blackman's reaction is was, to some extent, understandable it was also incredibly silly. He still needs to work hard to win over the supporters after a pretty poor start to his time at Reading (not his fault that he was selected, I suppose) and that sort of reaction will not help do that. If he doesn't play well in the next game, his critics will be on his back even more now.

I think his reaction was understandable but unfortunate as most fans did not boo him on Wednesday, but the few who did are a disgrace. He was trying hard Wdenesday and did well when we came on again today. And it was a good finish not a scuffed one!

Fair play to him. Doesn't deserve the treatment he's had.

I'm not denying it happened, but I didn't hear boos. And I remember being surprised thinking that he was getting quite a good clap off.

Nothing will change it. Same twats booing long and Kebe. Twats will be twats. Good on him I say

From where I was, there very audible jeers, not quite on Leigertwood levels, but definitely more than a few. Got clapped off by many as well.

The thing that I don't get is people who are so one eyed that they're shouting abuse about a mistake before the player even gets the ball. There was one guy (well oiky teenager) near me on Wednesday who was shouting complaints the second Akpan got anywhere near the ball let alone touched it.

I tend to mutter when I think a player is doing badly. Much less likely to upset them but you still get to get it out.

I didn't hear him being booed today. He wasn't great of course, but didn't think he did anything that deserved being booed. But he has just about done it with that reaction towards the fans. He is never going to be an excellent player at this level and that attitude seals it. I pay good hard earned money to watch players being payed massive salaries, I am not backing players like that.

Remember Paul Holsgrove giving the South Bank the middle finger after a shyte game at Elm Park. That was his last.

Blackman was a bit of a panic buy and was, probably still is, nowhere near top of the Championship level. It's not his fault we bought him and shouldn't be jeered or booed at any time.
He has found himself alienated from the fans purely because he is not able to perform consistently at this level. I would suggest that when he does have that decent 10 minutes then it would be wise not to alienate himself even further and bite the hand that feeds him.

Your one of those blind faith tw*ts. How different is Kebe to Blackman... they are worlds apart. Kebe blew red hot & luke warm, could get away with that, Blackman blows luke warm & cold for the most part.
