genome I reckon the club could covertly delay the kick off by 15 minutes so we know the result of the Brighton match for the closing stages. It really worked to our favour at home to Forest the evening we went up.

Anyone want to volunteer for causing a mass pile up at J11?

Reading 4 - 0 Burnley.

Head in to the Playoffs like a steam train.

SPARTA Frustrating 1-1 draw, and Brighton win their game with a late goal and take 6th.

Yep this is my take on it too unfortunately - except I can see Brighton scoring really early on & then our fans get nervous & the atmosphere becomes really edgy.

What would be amazing would be to go 1 goal down until say 87 mins, think it's all over & then comeback Man U v Bayern CL final style. The place would erupt.

Such a shame the kick off is so bloody early. It leaves very little drinking time.

I think you mean like the Wigan play off game. The night the Mad Stad shook and it started to feel like home.

Promotion parade for the Burnley team on Sunday 4th.

Let's hope their minds are focused on this rather the game on Saturday!

Maybe they might be allowed a few shandies Friday night.

Any fans willing to introduce the Burnley team to the Purple Turtle?

With Williams and Guthrie now out I just can't see us winning this.

Reading 0 - 2 Burnley. Brighton draw at Forest to nick 6th on goal difference

Oh yeah because we haven't got a hope in hell with the 'great' Guthrie out.

Starting to get really nervous about this now. I'm watching back loads of videos (good and bad) and getting pretty anxious about it. Overall I feel really positive about it and TBH i can't imagine us losing which is a good sign I think

You can't imagine we're going to lose? I'm thinking they're going to hobnob us and we'll show the lacklustre performances we've witnessed most of the year.

Reading v Burnley and Forest v Brighton = Both games end in draws, we just make it.

It's the ultimate situation for the WUMs with small radios etc to be starting the "Brighton have scored" "Forest are now winning" rumours going around and pissing everyone off.

Really nervous. I think it won't matter. Brighton will lose. As for us. I suspect we will draw.

Big Tim I really want us to win this one. Never been this nervous before a game and its only Wednesday. If we get a win against Burnley, I'll wear a Jester's hat and go and sit with the Mongs

Why, have you got Down's Syndrome? Sorry to hear that.

Got no feel for this whatsoever. Reading usually put in a ridiculously lacklustre performance in such circumstances but surely that must change once in a while...?

3-1 to the lads. Anyone coming on here giving it 'anxiety and apprehension' need to have a word with themselves, as they'll only bring that feeling to the game before it's even started. Come on lads and lasses, let's be 'avin ya.

So are we going to win? And by what score?

Not nervous at all.

Win? In the play offs.
Draw or lose? Could still be in the play offs.
Draw or lose and Brighton win? We are spared the inevitable play off loss or if by some miracle we were to win it, the embarrassing season that would follow.

Reading 2-1 Burnley

LeFondre
Pogrebnyak

Ings

Tight game, late winner for Reading, cue the pandemonium.

I have to work tomorrow so I will have to find out about the game after the fact. C'MON URZZZZZ!
