If Mr Harris thinks that buggering horses is the way to go because they can't speak out about it, he's obviously never watched Mr Edd.

Whilst this guy got ribbed on here for being an ITK, he's been spot on well in advance of anything Dellor or the papers have said. Latest tweets are:

@flyonthewallrfc 1m
Reading are in talks with potential investors from Oman. Contact spoke to two of them on Saturday #readingfc

@flyonthewallrfc 1m
One flew in from Houston purely for the game. They also spoke to Adkins and we're introduced by Chris Samuelson #readingfc

@flyonthewallrfc 5m
Unsure of how far along any potential takeover is though. There is one main person behind the party from Oman. #readingfc

Tim Dellor is a credible journalist, not some child posting on his school holidays. It's probably your account anyway, posting your usual trash.

My account is a personal account I rarely use to post anything with, just follow mainly. Credible journo he may be but James was weeks ahead of him nevertheless. @flyonthewall is @Jimmy_Coulson That's an easy one to work out.

This.

Would wager Dellor has known about the problems at the club for quite a while actually. The thing is he sometimes has to show some discretion and can't blurt out everything he has heard over the airwaves and social media.

I remember him doing a post match interview a couple of months ago where he said there were things said off the record that he couldn't repeat.

To be fair, the potential Omani ownership was what I was alluding to a couple of pages back. It will be done in January I'm told.

A Sheffield Wednesday fan posted on rumours site:

Reading, your new owner in waiting is Qaboos bin Said. His representative was in Reading and at the Madejski on Saturday (I think that has since been made public although not who he was representing?), and has also been present at three other recent games. Talks have been ongoing since August and was expected to be completed by March, but rumour has it it may have been fast-tracked for the January transfer window.

The only reason I know any of this is from a reliable source at my club Sheffield Wednesday, and he was thought to be interested in us before being sold on Little London. sorry I mean Reading ;) The deal almost fell through in October, which is when we contacted the Omani's representing him, but whatever was the problem your end was resolved promptly.

Good luck with it. He's not all that loaded but seems sound and has a genuine interest in English football. I know we'd have liked him here!

Qaboos bin Said Al Said the Sultan of Oman... Interesting.

Well, that's settled then.

Not only has SPARTA given us his usual insight from the kids on Twitter, a Sheffield Wednesday fan has inside knowledge as well.

No wonder why the printed press are going to the pan with such accurate inside information.

The majority of what I hear stays private, and a select few on here can vouch for that who I trust off board. That said, I've not mentioned anything regarding a name. There are plenty of fans speculating about who the owners are, especially now the papers have picked up on their nationality. Let's just wait and see shall we?

Knowing Reading, if this is true, he's going to be the least wealthy rich Arab gentleman available.

Cue summer tours of Dubai and a nice little mosque replacing the hotel.
