SPARTA
Harpers So Solid Crew Paul Clement, looking for first managers job, excellent connections.

Ex loanee too wasn't he, from WBA, back in the day?

No. That was his brother Neil who was on loan from Chelsea. Paul is currently a coach at Real Madrid. Has also worked at PSG and Chelsea.

madstadblues What evidence is there to say that Dolan is the right fit ? He is Academy director and as far as I am aware doesn't manage the U18, U21 teams. Setting a strategy to get the best out of promising talent is different to being tactically on the money and a strong manager of senior pros. If he does get the job, what happens when the players let him down to and all the 'I want it now brigade' get on his back - we sack him and lose a really successful Academy director.

Agree with this, and hadn't thought about the potential downside to appointing him.

No Brian McDermot on the poll.... or Nigel Adkins for that matter (we might backtrack like Leeds)

Busy falling out with Dave Kitson.

Now, there's another name to throw in to the ring. The super cerebral secret football manager.

Can't be a coincidence.

As long as he stays in character as The Secret Manager with an IRA style voice over and outline when he gives a press conference on tv.

Google him, was reading about him on Saturday, Chelsea, Real, with Ancelotti at both, has worked with youth teams with a few clubs before becoming assistant coach to first teams.

But still not experienced at this level. Still a punt. Ole was supposed to be Cardiff's savour, etc..
