Baghdad Royal BBC reporting Pearce as having had a shot saved

There was a goal mouth scramble from a Norwood free kick so I guess it could have come from that.

Up to 2 shots on, 4 off now on RP

2 off from Pog, , 1 off from Williams and Hector, 1 on each from Pearce and Norwood

Ian Royal
From Despair To Where? Again, drivel.

I cirticised Murray against Watford for missing golden opportunities.

My entire dislike of Pog is based on 1) The size of his wages 2) His mediocre performances 3) The mediocrity of his performances compared to his massive wages. The second he starts earning his money, I'm on board. So far he's been with us for 23 months of play. He's blatantly our top earner. For only one of those 23 months has he had any case for being in our top 5 performers. Not. Good. Enough.

I can't comment on whether he's having a good game at the moment, too little information. If you'll actually read what I've said about him, it's that I'd heard his name once whilst listening to the majority of the first half and we immediately lost the ball. I've not even heard HRK's name.

It's not unreasonable to ask seanboyd how he can categorically say he's having a good game.

There are times when Pog has been very poor but he's a player that thrives on service and we've been providing him with shocking service for 30 months. Yes he gets outmuscled a bit to easily for a player of his size but he links up well with others. He is a decent forward at completely the wrong club and an absolute folly of a purchase and nobody questions that but that's not his fault. You don't get to be top scorer in a European club competition without having something about you. It's in our best interests to move him on but in the meatime we need to support him and get the best out of him

Fedders just produced a world class save!

Then 2 more class saves from the corner!

Gem to score and win the game!

Dont beat yourself up, Steve Clarke was well known for his sides being ridiculously hard to beat! (hence West Brom finishing 8th in the prem) Another positive for the reading fans. January window, PLEASE give us someone that can score!

I am generally happy with that, we could have nicked it but couldnt quite get that goal, defense much better.

Fedders - Outstanding.

3 points against Fulham next week and knock Cardiff out the cup!.

Great point.

Failing to score against us in two games suggests 'Boro have a problem taking their chances. Don't know about the rest of the season, but that's going to be an achilles heal in the hunt for promotion.

boro point of view - Should of won that we were wasteful your keeper is one of the best in the championship and had a great performance today. disappointed only word to describe that but a great performance by us apart from the fact we could not score.

Must say i'm happy with that, it's clear that we're lacking up front and nothing but January recruitment/Pog actually earning his wages will change that, the one thing that desperately needed fixing was the defence and the side appear to be a lot more solid with Steve Clarke than under Adkins which gives us a platform to build upon.

In the car.
Many more positives than negatives to take from that game.

Feds MoTM by a mile. 10/10 from him.

Good point and a nice clean sheet against an attack minded team, even if we rode our luck at times. Defence looks up to the job for the rest of the season and hopefully we can now get Gunter and Pearce to sign new contracts. Different players under Clarke.

We still need someone up front. Our options are too limited and uninspiring.

Shit first half, good battle second half. Feds was quality. Probs Gunter's best game in a Reading shirt. Bamford was shit other than that excellent shot that Feds tipped onto the bar.
