Rotherham Match Thread - Sponsored By Clolarkelol

Obviously don't know the team yet, but my guess is that he'll play the youth to avoid any blame when the inevitable defeat comes. This will lead to the league fining us.

Nope, will be a strong side tonight as Rotherham still need 2 points to be safe. Hoping Pog will be back so we look a little more dangerous up front

I don't believe there's any precedent for a fine for playing a weakened side. Regardless, our young players played last night. The only U21s who could play tonight are Obita, Cooper, and Stacey, and they've all been in the team recently anyway.

We need to lose tonight - thats the only way we can guarantee we wont have to deal with Millwall fans in our stadium for at least 12 months, during which time they can come up with a better song then "Millwall, Millwall, Millwall" repeated ad-infinitum / ad-nauseam.

As opposed to sweet Caroline and "do do do Adam Federici"?

I want Millwall to stay up. Decent away day and their fans create more atmospher and spark than Rotherham will ever do.

He's already said it would be unfair to play too many youngsters when the result affects sides competing for promotion and safety, so we wont see many changes. Final day maybe.

Millwall fans are always good value and very easy to get a rise out of. I'd rahter they stayed up tbf.

Not that it matters too much - to win a game you need to put the ball in the net, and at the moment our players dont look like they could score in a brothel.

If we lose it will obviously be because Rotherham had something to play for and we didn't

Just don't buy this "meaningless" game theory.

It's not meaningless if:

- you support RFC. We want to win don't we?
- you are playing for a contract next season (unless you don't want one)
- you believe that momentum into next season matters
- you are Steve Clarke who's current league record is an utter shambles
- you support Fulham or Wigan
- you, like me, are waiting to decide on whether it's worth forking out over £400 for a season ticket
- you give a f**k (please read HRK)
- you have travelled to Rotherham tonight to follow the team
- YOU DON'T WANT TO LOOK LIKE A TEAM THAT IS NAILED ON FOR RELEGATION NEXT SEASON

feel free to add others I have forgot.........

Wasn't aimed at you mate - I am just waiting for the Steve Clarke apologists to come on here 5 mins before kick off and say it doesn't matter - when it does.

It massively matters mate. Too many people making excuses for Clarke because they got a day out at Wembley and a free t shirt.

We need a couple of wins to get some positivity and ad some numbers to the season tickets.

I've just completely given up on the utter shambles that is our current squad...the sooner this season is done and dusted the better...the players can't be bothered...so why should we as supporters...can't go up, won't go down...can't see us scoring...can see us conceding...

"Most" people do not want Clarke out. "Most" people recognise that this job, clearing up the mess left by the Russian and the man the Russian appointed as manager is a difficult one. "Most" people realise that this is Reading and not Real Madrid or some South American club where you get rid off the manager because you've had a bad month or two.

Now Clarke is really trying not to win another game. What formation is that going to be? Obita left wing and Cox wide right I guess
