P!ssed Off
Nameless McIntyre played against Beaconsfield as well.
He's going to get games for the u21's this season I expect, so can see him getting involved in the preseason.
He's already signed a 2 year pro deal.

No, he's just signed a scholarship contract.
I'd imagine we'll look to tie him to a pro contract as soon as he turns 17 in November though, if he's that highly rated.

No, he's got a 2 year pro deal as well. Not privy to the exact technical details and it could be that it kicks in after he has completed the first year of his scholarship but there is definitely a 2 year pro contract agreed.

"Agreed in prinicipal" is, I believe, the phrase you are looking for.

Nameless is right, the club haven't announced it but it's an open secret. The contract he's just signed is merely a photo opportunity, he agreed a deal until 2018 in the spring (scholarship terms until he's 17, then professional). I don't know whether he's actually signed a pre-contract or it's just agreed in principal, but I don't think it's going to be an issue for either party.

Not unless the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea come in.

Seems less of a risk with him though, he's one of the local boys isn't he?

Lower Earley born and bred. Though that hasn't stopped him playing for Scotland...

Seriously, he's a Reading fan, and I think he understands that we offer better career options than Chelsea would do.

He is NOT a Lower Earley boy. He's traditional Earley....
From what I know of him he's highly unlikely to get his head turned by the likes of Arsenal or Chelsea.

Anyone else going to the gas friendly tonight?

Thought I might as well as I'm right on the doorstep.

How ironic, our squad is rather short on the left hand side, yet that first 11 has four players who can (at a pinch) play left wing / left midfield, and no right sided midfielder.

433 I reckon. Taylor on the right, Fosu on the left, Samuel up top.

Radio says Obita, but tbh having previously listened to them while watching a live game I don't trust a word they say.
