What are you actually expecting to happen?

It was reported that Clarke had gone to speak to him as he's a target. Do you want 24/7 reporting of Clarke's movements and a full write up of their conversation and McShane's intentions?

It's early June. The guy is in the middle of preparing for two internationals after what was probably a long and disappointing season and he'll no doubt have other offers on the table.

Unless we're throwing silly money at him it's unlikely he's going to sign for us straight away before assessing his options so we just have to be a little patient for the next few weeks whilst players go on holiday and clubs compete for players signatures.
