How many more signings do you think we need before you are satisfied?

For me I think we need a true no 10 as the midfield has worked hard recently but has lacked any real flair or anyone that can provide any assistance to the strikers. Just by looking on the rumours and gossip page that person appears to be Mohamed Elyounoussi so hope we can pull that one off.

By the sounds of it Fernandez is to be announced in the coming days so the only other position we need to strengthen is up front for obvious reasons. Beric would be ideal in this department but in all honesty I would take anyone at the moment.

So how many more and in what positions would you like to strengthen?

I think we probably signed more players than we strictly needed to already. I'd be perfectly happy if we'd only added Quinn, Sa, Bond and Taylor, the others have just been bonuses.

If Samuel's out for a long time, another striker would probably be for the best. Other than that, we're fine.

Clarke said in his last interview that we released about 14 players and have only signed around 7, so there's plenty of room to add player for a greater depth. I think a lot of players we released went unnoticed as they were just dead wood. After Fernandez I would just like to see another real goalscorer. Sa is really good in my opinion but he's not a 20 goal a season player. I think he will contribute but his best attributes are when the balls at his feet. In my time supporting reading I've never seen a player move the ball as well as he can at his feet.

Think a short-term loan deal for a winger should be a priority .... not sure about signing another striker .... at the moment, it's lack of creativity not finishing that's the problem. Although given that Pog and Samuel are crocked .... it would definitely be risky going into the season with only 2 strikers.

I'd say a short term deal for a winger (and maybe striker) is required... Given Clarke's insistence on playing wingers, without actual wingers.

Lots of filler there and not too many that would be genuine first team contenders this season (Feds, Pearce, Jem ? Of which 2 have been properly replaced and one is a wait and see)

I can see the similarities. Flooding the team with new players is never a good thing. An addition of 2 or 3 well skilled players who are of benefit to the team works best.
