19 win from 53.... Awful.

Football from last season returned.

Devoid of any ideas.

Vydra looks a class act, pace and movement tonight was excellent yet not the tactics or pass to exploit this.

As one of the poor souls there tonight this was as bad as its been for a long time. The club and team are engulfed in this deep depression that is slowing wringing the life out of our football club. Clarke is a dead man walking casting a black cloud over everybody connected with the team . The performance tonight was woeful devoid of any passion leadership or skill to beat a very poor QPR team , one win from the last seven games is relegation form, we won't go down but unless we shake this club up from top to bottom and a get a new manager that can truly lead and show passion we're gong to be slowing sinking to an abyss of bottom half at best of this league

Absolutely pathetic. I'm really angry at that abject performance.

Clarke needs to go, the players aren't playing for him. Why did we play hoof ball to Vydra who is tiny compared to QPR's tall defenders?

New goalie in jan is a must. Al-Habsi is shocking. Bond in v Preston.

Blackman was at fault (as usual unfortunately) of not releasing the ball to Vydra (or anyone else) quickly enough or regularly enough to exploit his movement and pace.

Williams could be a terrific player if he passed the ball and didn't keep running at high speed into blind alleys. He has everything else.

Substituting Fernandez when we were comfortable unbalanced the team with little steel in midfield and let QPR push on against us. Doesn't Clarke understand why we keep conceding goals?

I don't think the owners will ditch Clarke unless there's a backlash against him at a game. Sadly as most of our fans moan but never show displeasure in the ground to the players/manager. So to anyone else going to Preston... you know what to chant if we are losing

BBC Sport........Reading manager Steve Clarke: "I understand the supporters are disappointed that we're not winning matches.
"If supporters direct anger at me, it means they're not directing at the players, so that's fine."

What a twat .....

This

According it his Dellor interview he will be spending time on the training ground to work things out.

You missed the real point on why we are conceding goals.... We are insisting on playing a keeper who makes howlers each game.

Calm down you massive helm

Things were fine a couple of months ago. Players don't want to play for Clarke now, he should move on.

That's all.

Al Habsi had a solid November and was imo, rightly voted PotM, especially with the team just gifting the opponent chances, we'd have lost the Bolton game had it not been for him. Yes he made a howler tonight but I don't think it's fair to suddenly say he's shit.

Al-Habsi - fine for 80 minutes, clanger costs the game - 4
Gunter - poor - 5
Taylor - fine - 6
Hector - ok - 6
Ferdinand - ok - 6
Norwood - some poor passes and closed out - 6
Williams - no endless woeful shooting, sub par runs - 5
Fernandez - showing why he should have played more - 7
McCleary - beat his man plenty, no one to cross to - 7 MotM
Vydra - ran lots, poor service and isolated - 6
Blackman - nice freekick, not a line leader - 6

Clarke - almost got the line up and shape right - 5

Ref - good first half, too picky second - 7

Who said that? Fans have an issue with the manager and automatically assume the players feel the same way. Not heard a single player say or indicate that they don't want to play for the manager. We are on a bad run of form, that started before the manager talked to Fulham and the players were clearly trying tonight.
