BFTG - Bristol City

On the way back now. Absolutely shocking, more to say later. But that goal felt amazing.

They were time wasting from the first minute. And their fans are a bunch of pricks. What a lovely way to win it.

Anton Ferdinand may have only operated in 6 square feet, but a good two and a half of those were all his (as long as the attacking player was stationary).

Didn't watch but was refreshing BBC Sport every 10 minutes. Let out a huge cheer when i saw the winning goal. Much needed win regardless of who against or how it came about.

P!ssed Off Cooper MoTM.
Vydra was poor.

Missed some sitters but never stopped running, and a quality tackle to start the move for our winner. Williams or Norwood MoM for me.

Agreed, Vydra did everything but score which is a major flaw for a striker, agreed, but everything else is there, he's suddenly going to become lethal.

Ref should have abandoned the match with half an hour left and both teams be docked points for being so bad.

I like to think El Habso knew the flag was up, otherwise it was a terrible attempt to stop it.

McCleary looking much better again now that Brian is back. Attacked the full back and put in some dangerous balls into the box. Probably not coincidence.

Keep Cooper in the team for next week.

Vydra is going to click soon. Good player, just not playing as well as he should be.

Good tackle yes, but the ball only needed winning back because he lost it in the first place.

Norwood would have been my Motm but a couple of shocking passes towards the end.

The whole stadium except the South Stand knew the flag was up ...

Norwood MOTM for me.
Cooper must surely have booked a more regular place.
GMac a real impact today.
Williams - please just pass early instead of running in to dead ends (again ...).

Ref - poor.
Away linesman - absolute legend.

Thought the ref was alright today compared to a lot we've had this season.

It was woeful and we committed the cardinal sin of leaving before the end and missed, the bloody goal.

Blackman has to be part of a front 2.

I am still a big Vydra fan, astonishing work rate.

Gunter please leave.

Cooper played well.

Much better shape and balance in the last 20 when we had two wingers.
To the complete tossers near me who boo'ed Vydra and told him to oxf*rd off back to Watford. He again worked tirelessly for the team and although he should have scored, confidence must be rock bottom, he was instrumental in us scoring the winner. Great application and desire. We are a better team with him in it. Sa did very little which is a bit worrying.
Norwood was sublime, Man of the Match again for me but well done to Cooper who continues to impress. Blackman confirmed he is not a right winger. He is too easy to defend against. He has nowhere near the understanding with Gunter that Gmac has and it was clear to see.
Overall we made heavy work of it again but at least we got the result this time. Need a run of three or four wins and this squad will kick on. Confidence is very fragile at the moment.
Cup game has come at the wrong time for us i think. We needed to follow this up but no doubt BMac will make a lot of changes for the cup game.
Not a great advert for football today but the 3 points are what mattered.
As a last thought if we are looking for another Striker then City's number 22 was a real handful all game...

I love it when grown men turn into spoilt little crybabies like that. I makes a last minute win against a team that really needed that point all the funnier.

Weird game. End to end, exciting. Made plenty of chances. Though deeply frustrating.

Cooper motm rock solid
Norwood excellent.
Blackman decent but faded, then scored.
Vydra absolutely gutted for him. Works so hard, has got the lot. If Brian can sort his confidence out hes a monster of a player
We are certainly working more to his strengths now.

Subs and rejig were very good.
Again

In fairness, that isn't saying a lot. He was certainly better than last match ...
