Great, no managerial experience and never coached anyone over the age of 15. Perfect appointment.

I'm glad we're finally acknowledging that there is footballing talent outside of the UK though. Although they don't always work out, it's a lot more exiting signing foreign talent with a bit of flair than the usual lower league punt we've been used to.

Who knows, one day we might even have a foreign manager :!:

Going outside of England has been pretty disastrous for us in recent years. Tommy Burns, Brendan Rodgers and Steve Clarke. :(

yeah, I can remember the excitement at the start of the season, with all of those exciting foreign names coming in, Sa, Piazon, Fernadez,Ola,Vydra etc.
I mean, they must be good with those names, yeah? one of them is even Brazilian. proper exotic

Surely the natural progression of a club with foreign owners with no football experience is to appoint a foreign manager with no managerial experience.

There's a succession plan in progress. A few weeks back someone was appointed with the specific role of mentoring the academy players that go out on loan to other clubs. More happening that may appear to be the case.

Manager Brian McDermott said: "I'm really pleased to have Danzell on board.

"He was first brought to our attention by Brian Tevreden, our new technical director, who spoke highly of him having worked with him previousl

If not I'm out.
