And they say there is no money at the club but if any truth in this... Sacking McDermott or moving him upstairs and replacing with Ajax number 2 won't be cheap

The board either need to back Brian and end any such speculation, or they need to keep total silence until an appointment is made. Such rumours are corrosive.

If Brian is to be sacked and replaced, which I do not favour, it should be for a proven manager with a track record, not someone like Staam.

The Thais are turning this club into everything I hate about foreign ownership.

Absolute joke.

De telegraaf reported he met in London with Reading FC representatives. The question is for what role did they meet to discuss.

Classic foreign owner going for a big name which will obviously end up failing miserably.

I have heard McDermott is being sacked today. I have also been told that it won't be Stam replacing him, he's already turned it down!

These owners are out of control aren't they :|

+1

Pre-season tour of Slovenia cancelled. Suddenly it's all looking a bit shifty.

It's not happening. Stam is coming as part of Keoman's backroom staff at Everton.

Maybe he's coming out of retirement, he's still far better than any of our defenders from seeing him play in that charity match recently.

The way Brian is being treated is disgusting.

I wish I didn't renew my season ticket now. I'm not impressed by all this sh*t that I'm hearing at all. I thought the Thais were loyal and I thought they wanted to build something. All this chopping and changing is going to see the club continue it's slide. If they want to chop and change like this and be successful, then they will need to spend big money. If they have no money, then constantly changing things will lead us to League One very quickly.
