CONLOLFIMRED - TshibLOLa to ViLOLLOLa

by The Royal Forester » 17 Jun 2016 16:01

The Reading Chronicle reports that Aaron Tshibola is being linked to Celtic and Aston Villa. I hope this is just paper talk and is far from the truth, any thought anyone?

Massive disappointment if he does go, but the prospect of Champions League football would be hard for him to resist. Villa are set to be as big as Barcelona or Real Madrid, according to their new owner.

Huge talent, we should be building a team round him. I would be surprised if he moved, or indeed teams took a risk until he proves his fitness.
Despite having only 45ish games under his belt he looks like a seasoned pro. One to hold on to. There is a big difference between ex managers having names on lists and players moving of course.

bad for us and him if he moves imo
would sit on their benches not getting a game, whereas he would play every game next year here.
I guess the champions league(1 game?) or bigger money could be enough to tempt him though, if he backs himself to push into their teams

would be bloody awful though.
at least with Gylfi we got a season out of him

He's a level headed chap, more likely than many to think a move through based on more than just a pay rise.

Cant believe you are saying that. He is quality and was about to play for England u 21's until he got injured. This will show whether the Thais are serious about developing a challenging team. Unless we get an offer in the region of £10m its essential we build a team around our best young players.

There's 'interest' but that's not the same as it being'likely' he's on his way !
Time will tell, but I agree it's a test of the Thai's commitment to taking the team forward.
I'd think Palace would be a much better option for him then either Villa or Celtic

I think you'll find he'll go, dont think it'll be Palace as game time will be limited unless they loan him out ? ..

I notice a connection between most of the clubs connected with Tshibola.

Celtic - Brendan Rogers as Manager
Aston Villa - Steve Clarke as Assistant Manager
Crystal Palace - Alan Pardew as Manager

Not sure what the connection to Norwich would be, but hopefully this means that it is just the papers coming up with stories that are just based on the linked teams' connections to Reading.

Ah yes! there we go. I completely forgot he was their U18 manager now. That links all the clubs mentioned to us then, and all of the links have been at Reading at the same time that Tshibola has been at the club too.

Wouldn't tish have been about 10 last time Murty was involved here?

Just signed a new deal hasn't he? I would suggest slapping a £10m price tag on him and building the team around him here.

Ignore him. It's just the pub bore looking for a bit of attention.

He Joined in 2008 at the age of 13. Murts left the following year in the Summer of 2009, just before Rogers' brief spell. 1 season is not that long admittedly, but it was still a longer time than BR would have been involved with him!
