RichTea94 Fun fact: he holds the Sporting Lisbon youth sprint record- previously held by a certain C. Ronaldo and Nani.

Any more fun facts there 94ers?

It's already been mentioned, but with Mr. Ilori we have another Blackman on our hands- he is eligible to represent England, Nigeria and Portugal.

Well he was watching the game last night - not sure if that is a good thing or not based on that performance.

Probably good, he'll be thinking, I can walk into this side; "I love to pass it around, it will be just like training with Brendan Rodgers".

It does make you wonder whether Nick Hammond's method was the best after all, no news until the deal is done.

Brian (Tevreden?), on the other hand likes everyone to know all the possibilities. Which pleases most of the fans, I guess. The trouble is, it then seems to take ages to finalise the deal, like the Liam Moore transfer.

So, which is best? Take your pick.

if as we all suspect we don't have a great deal of cash, then maybe this is tied up with the Chinese buying in -not rocket science i know but didn't they give (loan ) Hull dosh before getting banned by the Premier League..........slippery slope.....

Did I miss something? Have we signed him or not? He seems to have disappeared from the archives!! Is it the problems with the Chinese take-over? Just wondering!

According to an undisclosed news source there will be an important update relevant to the Ilori transfer. The story, due to be published on Monday, is expected to contain the reason why Reading Football Club has as of yet, not confirmed the completion of the deal.

I'm guessing.

Our dearly departed Nick was eligible to represent England, Poland, Israel, Barbados or The Netherlands at international level.

Reason I heard for the delay was that Reading were holding off until the Chinese deal had been approved by the FL/PL so they could announce both together and make it look like they mean business from the start.

I rate this as pure comedy myself but then stranger things have happened.
