Well, that's Brighton all-but up, 2-0 winners at Wolves.

Well done to them and their slow-burn.

Does Steve Sidwell get yet another go at the Prem?
fair play to him, Rosie and Ollie if they actually do.

A very realistic chance we blow this, makes it all the more embarrassing people were dismissing the Norwich result as irrelevant like we'd pretty much sewn up the playoff spot already. So many people boasting like it was a full-gone conclusion and its likely to come back to some almighty mocking from most of the league. We are a very raw team, I like Stam as a manager and we have a couple of really exciting young players. We are headed in the right direction but I haven't been overly impressed with the games i've watched here from the US this season, we seem very defensively fragile and other than Kermogant in recent weeks we've never really looked like being consistent scorers. Not optimistic about the run in honestly.

There are only 3 points between Leeds/ourselves and Wednesday/Fulham. Four teams are fighting for 3 spots, any of the four could drop out by the end

The argument would be our run in is more favorable, after Villa we have Wigan and Rotherham at home, Forest and Burton away. Of course we can't take anything for granted but that's 4 of the bottom 5, including a Rotherham team with 1 away point all season

Couldn't ask for a better fixture list. With a return to the squad of key players.

With Fulham v Sheffield Wednesday on the last day of the season, am I right in thinking we only need 9 points to secure a playoff spot?

At least my bedwettjng is reserved for when we actually play a game

We were fine a couple of weeks ago, we were fine after the Norwich game, we are fine now and we will be fine come the end of the season.

Completely agree, if we fail to finish in the play-offs it will because we failed to beat either Wigan or Rotherham imo

Agreed. After today, at worst we have a 3pt cushion to 7th. We then play the teams in 24th, 20th, 23rd and 21st, who we have already beaten without conceding a goal. You could hardly pick a better last 4 games.

If we can't stay ahead of one of Fulham & Sheff Weds with that run in, when they have to play each other and Fulham also go to Huddersfield, then we will deservedly finish 7th.

3 wins I think would secure a play off spot

Agree our fixture list is as good as we could hope for. Realistically we've been putting these teams away all season - off the top of my head I don't think we have dropped points against any of the bottom 5 - and only against Brum in the Rowett days

Not that it will be easy but we *should* get enough points from those 4
