Stranded 18 goals in less than 3 games since their extended Xmas break. Insane.

Our result was bad but it doesn`t seem so bad now.

Plus the fact they’d already scored 7 once this season!

paultheroyal It is reading like terrible news for Derby - often these things are blown up to made worse than it is, but they could really go, couldnt they?

I really hope so - I think they should make an example of Derby - they threw Bury out of the league for far less.

Nice stat I've read this morning. Fulham have 19 league goals in 3 games, Barnsley have 16 in 24.

First league team in 88 Years to score 6 or more goals in 3 consecutive league games.

Can't stand them, but hats off to them.

According the EFL statement, Derby will run out of money in February.

Frankly relying on Derby falling apart if we keep playing as badly as we have been lately.

What actually happens if they run out of money and there's no buyer for them? Do they get chucked out the league?

They would probably start the liquidation process and kick them out of the league yeah.

Yes and all their results would be scratched which would help us as we only picked up one point from them whereas some of our rivals have done better.

Peterborough, Barnsley, Bristol City and Birmingham would all lose 3. Kind of remarkable that with how little they've lost this season, 4 of their 7 defeats came against that lot.

The rate we're going you could take 6 off Posh and Barnsley and they'd still overhaul us.

Barnsley are going to finish bottom, I know we've had a terrible string of performances but they have been absolutely dreadful, it's extremely pessimistic thinking to believe they'll overtake us. Peterborough will probably sneak ahead of us if we don't get our act together.

read that they've turned down 4 bids so far for Sibley. I don't see with the debts they've got (20m to HMRC?) they can actually turn down any sensible offers. Pretty sure he'll go by the end of the window

Lawrence also linked to Bournemouth. Reckon that will happen. Such a Bournemouth signing - and again only funded through the rancid parachute payments.

He will probably get offers from most Championship clubs if Derby do go bust. Although I don't doubt someone will pick him up for about £100k seen as it's cash Derby need.

On another note, Birmimgham play Barnsley, Peterborough and Derby all within the next week, how they could do us a massive favour and win all 3.
