Zip Nameless NathStPaul Don't mind Sunderland coming back into the Championship, no real issue with them as a club.
Feel for Gareth Ainsworth, he deserves to be managing in the Championship.
He didn’t deserve to last time and he certainly doesn’t deserve to this. He needs to finish top 2 or finish 3-6 then win the playoffs to deserve it.
Wycombe were robbed last season. Derby should have been deducted points last season. Ironically we were the ones to benefit from Derby's belated points deduction.
I realise it’s an unpopular take but frankly if Ainsworth hadn’t given it the whole “ we’re little Wycombe isn’t it amazing we are in the championship” line , then they might have made the most of the momentum from their fluke ( by the very definition of the word) promotion.
They showed more than enough in the second half of the season to suggest they could stay up regardless of the Derby situation. They just started with an inferiority complex and that’s down to the manager .
Can’t argue he’s done a good job there but I’m not buying the whole “ deserves to be in the championship” stuff. He was in it , then couldn’t keep his team up .
