windermereROYAL
Simmops
AthleticoSpizz yup, without the 21 point deduction, would be somewhere around tenth with 35 points from their scratch team…including Baldock

Off of bottom place today

Shows a few things

1) how it pays to have a manager who can motivate the players because they are clearly playing for their lives and are passionate for him

2) how mentally shit Barnsley are

Another team that think bringing in unknown foreign managers is the way to go. even that prick at west brom has been found out now.

West Brom are now feeling the Ron Gourley effect. Slowly sinking and falling behind the rest.
It's probably not the manager but the c*nt in the boardroom.

windermereROYAL It`s hard not to grudgingly admire Derby, Rooney is doing a hell of a job there, wouldn't be surprised if he was at Everton next week.

Edited for you........

2 now. Stoke seem to be making a few signings. Are they getting all done before an embargo?

Looks like you could be right. Everton have sacked Benitiz today. Getting Rooney away from Derby could help us.

Particularly if he takes his coaching staff with him

It would be a huge blow for Derby to lose Rooney

Well they've lost another player today. Shinnie signs for Wigan for a reported 30k.

Apparently it's between Big Dunc and Roberto Martinez, again.

I’d be surprised if they are allowed to keep hold of Lawrence. Big wage and sure he has his suitors

Lose him and I reckon they’ll start to fizzle out pretty quickly. Losing Rooney would be a blow they wouldn’t come back from

No idea how he is still there tbh, thought someone would come in for him January 1st. He'd get in any of the Championship sides and would be relatively affordable in terms of transfer fee. Might indicate just how little money there is in the Championship?

He has had his problems. That car crash when he had been boozing. May have put put clubs off a bit. Giving him the captaincy seems to have worked because he has been terrific for them this season.

Lawrence's wages are astronomical as well, it would cost a lot for somebody to get him, even if the transfer fee would be relatively small. Similar issue as to what we have with Moore.

Lawrence is out of contract in June. For a top end Championship player his current wages wouldn’t be much of an issue.

The pay out compensation would be quite beneficial though in there position.
