NathStPaul Derby won't get a points deduction. Shame.

Seems like a new investigation once they’ve resubmitted their accounts, but no further action on 20/21

Yet.

Have to resubmit accounts for 3 seasons, in line with rules bt mid-August and loss will be recalculated. If the losses mean they breached FFP for 3 periods then they could get a 12 point deduction per breach. So they could get a 36pt deduction. They won't but, I'll be surprised ifvthey don't get 12pts at some point this year else why else would they have fudged the accounts.

From what I understood the penalty can't be for 20/21 after today, could be wrong as I've only skim read the literature.
Hopefully they get a 12 point deduction like you say, start next season on the minus points.

I think that’s right.
Shame for Wycombe and will be interesting if the revised accounts result in a points deduction. Wycombe might see some court action on the back of it

Sorry I wasn't clear, I meant they will almost definitely get at least one deduction next season. Kevin Maguire, who knows his stuff thinks they may just come under the FFP limit for the 2016-18 period but will breach it massively for 2017-19. 12 points will be a formality but if they do breach more than once when reassessed than expect multiple penalties.

Given the state of their squad and this hanging over them, it will be a minor miracle if they are not in L1 for the 22/23 season.

I also see Waghorn has signed for Coventry today so Derby have just 11 first team players left now.

I think we’re all saying the same thing
Just get the popcorn ready for August when they submit their accounts ( we won’t get to find out for months obviously)

It’s better for us if they are deducted the points this coming season.

It's a rumour that they tried to hide debts in excess of 60mill from the potential new owners, who have now walked away. Almost seems like a criminal act. Somthing needs to be done.

Matt Hancock has time to spare, maybe he could be their Marriage Guidance Councellor

To be fair, unlike Villa when they got an owner that was linked with Samuelson, the WBA fans seem to have paid attention to Gourlay's history, particularly with us and are incredibly wary of this appointment.

So - Rooney's been photo'd intoxicated in a hotel on snapchat during pre-season with women. Obvs not accusing him of anything but how would we feel about it if it was someone in our coaching staff? Surely he's on borrowed time....

Wayne said two days ago that it is his job to “bring some dignity and some pride back to this club”. He really does have what brains he has between his legs.
