Nameless
windermereROYAL There always seem to be teams that come from nowhere to challenge for a play-off spot late in the season, I wouldn`t rule out Cardiff and Forest just yet.

On what basis are you expecting Forest to suddenly transform into a team capable of averaging well over 2 points a game for the rest of the season ?

19 points from their last 10

Jinx and Ryan Ledsom getting away with persistent niggly fouls again

No he didn't, he got booked.

BTW Preston were surprisingly the much better side.
Blackburn didn't start with Harvey Elliott but in his cameo of about 25 minutes he was head and shoulders above everybody else and, it might be because it is only The Championship, but he looks quicker than he was 6 months ago.

I think Liverpool will be pleased with his progress and I reckon he might be closer to the first team back at Liverpool and a serious option instead of Salah when needed.

On balance I think I would like to see Bournemouth win today and 'Boro lose.
That would mean a good gap between the pack and the current top 6 and I felt with Blackburn last night they appeared demoralised maybe because they now see the gap as just too big.

It's out of our hands of course and we just want to make sure that we win our game.

Forest would need to make up 13 points in Bournemouth in 18 games. Can’t see it, esp as they aren’t actually very good

Which is why I used the word persistent. Got a yellow for a foul that could easily have been a red and followed it up with at least two more

It’s possible of course. Just very unlikely imo considering the level of player they have there

Watching Liverpool being comical instead

But checking the stats - Bournemouth 3 shots, none on target. Desperate

Bournemouth very disappointing considering the players they have and they can't blame injuries either at the moment.

Good start to the weekend with that result and last night's.

Nobody in the play-off chasing pack looks like a serious contender. 11 point gap between us and 7th as it stands, and none of them look good enough to close it.

Cardiff the team to watch. If they win they will be six off Bournemouth.

Yep they’ve some decent players. Surprised they have been so poor this year. Moore, Wilson, Ojo etc is a good forward line
