Who do we want, then?

by genome » 17 May 2017 09:00

As a team, I prefer Huddersfield
But we have done the double over Wednesday - although they have experience of Wembley last year

Thoughts?

Watched the first leg, Huddersfield considerably the better footballing team and that was in line with every time I've seen either club during the season - therefore logically I'd give us more chance of beating Wednesday and would thus rather they won tonight.

However, there's a part of me that thinks Jaap would be able to 'do a job' on Huddersfield, akin to what we did to Fulham, whereas Wednesday are more experienced and gritty.

I care so little it hurts
Putting my faith in a manager who has grown so much in a short time and a bunch of players who clearly trust him and will execute his plans.
Let them worry about playing us.
It's our year.

Huddersfield. Just on the grounds that Sheff Wed would be so wound up for it having lost there last year plus being ultra anxious to do Reading after we beat them twice.

So I think we all know who it will be then.

Also hoping for a mass brawl between SW and HT players tonight that sees 6 players sent off.

I would say Huddlesfield - as if we're not going up, it'll be nice to see a new team in the Premier

While I think Wednesday are the better side, Huddersfield always seem to look very good against us, so went for Wednesday.

Huddersfield. So Ryan Dearnley can have his revenge when they beat you.

If they were that scared, We should be OK'
logic. :D

Personally I would take the only team that we have done the double over this season that are in the playoff places (Wednesday). However I am fairly confident that we can beat either.

Wednesday for me. They're terrified of our style (the fans..) and we've beaten them twice, feel a little unbalanced. BUT their attack is decent and they are more experienced at this.

Huddersfield however are like a steamroller when they get their heads up, worry me more than Fulham did, so I'd prefer to avoid them. Although I think having the Huddersfield fans around would be fun (I'm probably off to watch the game in Farringdon tonight..) and if we don't go up I'd rather it were them.

So yeah, IDK.

Wednesday away could have been another Norwich if it wasn't for Al Habsi - i don't really want to rely on our keeper winning us the game in the final. Huddlesfield are a good team but the fact they finished on -2 goal difference fills me with more confidence

Voted doesn't matter cos I don't think either side has any better chance of beating us than the other, nor us beating them for that matter, but yeah, if it ain't us let it be someone new.
