Lower West Without the points deduction Derby would themselves have 22 points. Only conceded 18 goals against our 30. Form wise expect them to surpass us by the end of the season.

Form is temporary, it fluctuates, good spells, bad spells. Judge it on an average after 46 games, not 19.

Makes discussing progress a little bit silly then doesn't it.

Let's all wait to see if we get relegated to analyse if we did or didn't get relegated.

They may well do but playing with absolutely no pressure is often a blessing. They are down, they know they are down so can just enjoy each game.

It is arguably why point deductions aren't necessarily a great idea.

Especially for those whose glasses are permanently half empty and use hypothetical situations to feed that negativity.

3 very winnable games coming up imo, Hull. Luton and Peterborough. we`ll probably lose a couple of these and win at WBA knowing this team.

Wouldnt surprise me if we only manage 5 points from those 4

Still should have enough to finish above Derby, Posh, Barnsley and probably Hull though.

4 straight wins. Will be a very tough game, we are surprisingly not in too bad form results wise. 7/12.

Would take W2 D1 L1 every 4 games from here on in.

Well yeah... it's it's the equivalent of an 80 point season.

Well obviously. Just a reminder I guess that shockers like Tuesday aren't the end of the world if you win 2 and draw one of the other games around it.

Winston Biscuit Up into 14th place (I refuse to acknowledge the points deduction)

Interesting though that even without the deduction we would be looking at a 60 point season with the average points we have had. 54 points is still a safe amount of points but not play off territory.

I can't see us being close to going down even if our current points ratio drops off a bit.

Derby have too much to do needing upper play-off form to stay up.

Barnsley only have 12 points, there must be very few sides that have stayed up with that total 20 games.

Peterboro are nearest to us but just don't look very good and can't see them getting much past 40 points.

Didn't Peterborough get relegated with 54 points once? Think it was in 2013. Leicester got 68 points but made the playoffs  weird season that was!

yeah , felt like 2 points dropped today but still stretches the gap above the bottom 3. And that realistically is our only real aim for this season to avoid getting sucked in

I'd like to see us 12 points or so clear by January then offer some decent contracts to players we want to keep. Take the extra 6 point deduction knowing that we're basically safe and also have more flexibility in the summer knowing that our punishment has been fully served.

We certainly didn’t look like a relegation threatened side today.

Honestly believe that we are not.

Some shrewd loanee acquisitions by the manager are the reasons why.

Went up a place today

Wouldn’t that compromise FFP rules again, on top of the six points ?
Can’t see they’d be lenient if that were the case
