It looks like the introduction of Deanne Rose from the bench, about a third of the way through the second half, made a significant difference. Set up Chaplen's first IIRC. It's not just her medal that has a gold touch!

The 2nd was delightful…BHA W going mad about ‘offside’ when the through ball was played inside our own half!!

Chelsea up next in December…if we can get some points out of that, we can seriously start thinking about challenging for the top 3. What a difference a month makes!

It was absolutely ridiculous, compounded by the fact that when she finally gave up waving her arms around and started to sprint she almost caught up with Emma Harries. Had she sprinted from the start, she probably could've got a challenge in and/or got back onto the line to make it more difficult for Harries to score.

And yesterday's win was a great result against a team that were on a brilliant run and were clear favourites before the game.

I think you're all being unfair to the useless Brighton defender. She knew that her only chance of stopping the attack was to con the officials. And when you play for such a big club, you expect to get the decisions.

She looked like an octopus flagging a taxi.

Harries was what, 3yds onside? There was even a handly white line running across the pitch. As RoyalBlue said, if she'd kept on running she had a more than decent chance of getting in a challenge or covering the goal line.

Just seen the 2nd goal, that was hilarious, she was screaming for offside when Harries was inside the Reading half when the ball was played.

Even though they would beg to differ, Brighton don't even qualify as a big club in the men's game, let alone the women's game. They have spent most of their existence below the mighty Royals in the latter.

As for trying to con the officials, even the ref against Forest on Saturday wouldn't have been bad/stupid enough to fall for that one.

'Octopus flagging a taxi' ! I love that description! I bet her teammates would too!

Was it their number 3? I'm tempted to tweet her.
