AthleticoSpizz Looking like a recent change in fortunes....good to see.

Now then, whatever happened to that ‘Chambers Out’ thread?

There wasn't one but I'm sure I'm not the only person who remains to be convinced that she can reverse the slide and start to take the club forwards again. Yes, in the last two games we have beaten fellow strugglers 3-0 (and in previous seasons we have struggled to beat teams towards the bottom of the table) but we were also beaten in the cup by a team from a lower division.

All that said, I dearly hope that Kelly and Phil have got back on track and we will re-establish ourselves as a mid-table WSL1 team, which us the least we should be,

Unbelievably poor. At the point when WHU hit the bar in the second half when their player should've scored, they had four players completely unmarked inside the right of our area as all of our 'defenders' had drifted over to the left!

Deanne Rose one of the few players emerging with any credit from this game - looks real WSL1 class, unlike so many of the others.

Well that is compensation for our unawarded ghost goal earlier in the season! 2-2 and it was Deanne Rose who set it up!

Its all about staying up every season now given the money the top sides are throwing at it.

Luckily we may have enough points already given the form of the bottom two.

Agree, and ‘privileged’ to have Reading still mixing it with them.

The BBC are really hammering-home the girly game.

Wimmins football might not be everybodies idea of football, but it is better to have a Reading team, than not have a Reading team in the WSL

A decent slow-burner

Yep that’s a very decent point and after such a poor start to the season they are doing ok.

Not to disrespect the opposition too much but that is what I'd expect them to do regardless of WSL fixtures. Gives the back up players an opportunity to show what they can do and also makes the games a bit more competitive.
