Particularly pleased (and not at all surprised) to see Danielle Carter join. I actually told my daughter that I wouldn't be surprised to see Kelly Chamber make a move to sign Carter when Arsenal announced she was leaving.

Ideal opportunity to try-out and wean ‘socially distanced’ spectators maybe?

Another significant signing - New Zealand's goalkeeper Erin Nayler.

It's great that the women's team can attract players of this calibre.

Another big name signing. Williams & Fishlock in midfield will be the envy of many teams! Two MBEs in midfield too!

Overlooked the fact that the Reading FC Women's midfield will now also feature the most capped player for England women and the most capped player for Wales women!

So we've lost the most capped men's Welsh international but 'replaced' him with his female counterpart.

I bet she earns less too.

$50,000 salary cap in the US NWSL although she will probably get a share of the allocation money on top.
