Steven Reid, its very probable he left because he disagreed with Stam, get him back in to halt the slide.

Hound
hughsies no.1 Will be Clement.

- Worked with Gourlay
- Been in relegation battle and saved Swansea
- Local boy
- Without a club so no fee to pay

agree that feels a quite likely outcome.

Not convinced of his abilities tbh though. Still anything would be better than the last 6 months

Agreed. In at 5/4 now with Sky Bet

Can't get excited about Clement. Both Swansea and Derby fans very critical of negative, defensive tactics (heard all that before) and probably not going to bring fans back in their droves.

Suppose Clement did a similar job to keep Swansea up last year if I'm not mistaken.

Would make sense on that level as well. Whether its long term or not might be a different question

Didn't realise how well he was doing at Derby though before getting sacked...

Almost Rowett like...

Betting markets for new managers are moved so easily that all it will have taken is one wise ass to put a tenner on at 8/1 and that will have sent the odds tumbling down (leads to a vicious cycle as people then think that's indicative of him being the new manager so put more money on etc etc)

Often it means very little, although occasionally someone may have some inside info

Do not want Redknapp anywhere near our club.

Why not get Redknapp in until the end of the season and then Lampard for next season with ‘arry as assistant?

Noggin the Nog Silva 100%

So long as its David and he's player manager I'd be happy with that.

Silver Fox I have no idea who will keep us up but I wouldn't want Pearson or Redknapp anywhere near the club

Not that it would make me attempt to rip up my ST though

Agreed. Also add Pardew, Murty and Parky to that list. I wouldn't want a former fan favourite ruining their playing legacy at the club with an unsuccessful manager stint and Parjudas can oxf*rd right off.

I'm pretty sure there's a whole load of people who think Pardew has already ruined his legacy! I wouldn't be against the other two because it might tarnish them with the fans, not 100% convinced they'd work out though.

I feel like Paul Clement might be the man

Sorry mate. Meant the former players regarding legacies. Pardew is just someone I wouldn't want back after the way he left us.

Anyone but Clement ffs

Sacked from his first/last two managerial posts with complaints of boring, negative football and bad tactical decisions

He's Jaap Stam with a bit of extra hair

Looking likely it's Clement. Possibly lampard as assistant manager?

....... but the awful football style was a contributing factor in the that sacking apparently

Steven Reid as assistant to anyone who has the club at heart (Murts or Parky)
