Not an ex player technically but an interview with McDermott and Ady Williams

An excellent listen thoroughly recommend. Going for the Kitson one next.

A decent listen, and a complex character, our Dave, pulls no punches.

Still remains my ‘modern day’ hero

Could have re-signed him a few years ago when he was out of contract

I didn’t really buy much of Kitson’s interview. Thought he came across as a bit of a knob-end deliberately taking a contrarian view, because it actually gets him notoriety. Even though he says he doesn’t like any fame, etc. If that’s the case, I would tow the line a little more and keep my head down

Each to their own. Buy or not 'buy'

Mental health is (fortunately) uncharted territory for most of us....(some on here do their best to prove otherwise  )

I just remember him as our best ever defending striker.

Clarke was right. Refused to play for the club when we were playing kids and had an injury crisis (under Adkins I think) to engineer a move away...never got why some on twitter call him a club legend.

People like Gilkes and Parky are the legends who devoted most of their playing careers to the club.

Adkins claims he feigned injury to engineer a move to Palace, Kebe claims he had a hamstring tweak.. Considering he had spent the previous 6 months out injured, I would imagine the truth lies somewhere between the 2, and in all likelihood, Kebe didn't see the value in potentially aggrivating an injury in a relatively unimportant fixture.

Never really gave two hoots about JK despite his flashes of brilliance, tbh

By the time we had signed him, the revolving door had already started spinning.

Entertaining to watch, mind.

He was fantastic under McDermott.

McDermott's team was full of hard working, well organised, physically strong, intellegent players but Kebe was the one who got you on your feet every time he got the ball.

Kebe had to be persuaded not to leave the January we got promoted. Greater player on his day (of which there were many) but always struck me as a bit soft and the sort to be a hypochondriac. Pretty unreliable sort and well past his prime by the time he left.

I agree. I thought Kebe was quite a lightweight who spent a lot of time on his backside, but sweet to watch when he got it right.

Not sure if he counts as an ex-player yet but Minnesota United's Vito Mannone is the 2019 MLS Goalkeeper of the Year.

Stam struggling at Feyenoord, 2-0 defeat at Young Boys today. Seems they're giving away cheap goals regularly, begs the question has he learnt from his time here? At least they had 63% of the ball though :?
