Next up a visit to Hull then Cardiff. Going to be a very long season. Still isn’t that what we all expected? It would have been nice to have kept the optimism about the place for another week or two though.

Sounds the same old problem, light up front as we have been for the last three years. Hate to say it, but bookies don't often get it wrong and without a class striker can see us being in another relegation battle.

Oh no you’re right Virginia was really good. Very solid and looks to be a real prospect.

Second season in a row we let Bannon run the show. Surely we should have learned from last season? Combined with Harris with ease.

That Keeper is absolutely shocking.

Oh for the days when we had Doyle and we used to batter Wednesday every season.

Guaranteed relegation unless a proper goalkeeper is signed by the end of the window.

So many players were shocking today but I can see why Adam’s pass completion rate was 56%, horrendous

It almost felt like the centre backs didn't trust the keeper as they often headed it out rather than letting him come and take is it (especially just before they scored from the corner)

Well, actually think quite a few were expecting a fairly comfortable win?
OMA was one of the very few who cautioned against that and called it right.
Don't really think any loss is a good one, and this certainly wasn't.
At home, against a team in disarray in pre season with no manager?
While we had a full and proper pre season, camps, long tour, etc?
We should have done better than that today, and set a positive tone.
As it is, it's a bad result any way you slice it.

+1.

It's almost as if I said that having a 19 year keeper starting was a terrible idea but the usual shills berated me like normal and said I was clueles

Booked flights x2, Stadium seats x2 and hotel for the Charlton fixture. Wife says.."Wow, never seen an English soccer game, just love that name Royals"....Hoping it won't be disappointing..

Sutekh Any sign of any good news? Are Reading actually showing any threat or is it the same old toothless crap bedevilled with defensive foul ups?

Yes. First goal was Rino giving the ball away and their left winger getting the ball with no one inside 20 yards of him.

Second, sloppy in midfield and they break, Miazga clears off the line for a corner, and they score a free header Virginia flaps at as it bullets past him. Third goal, long ball to big guy up top, turns Miazga and slots in the corner where everyone could see he was going to go half an hour before Virginia got nowhere near it.

First 20 or so we dominated and should have been ahead, but created not a whole lot all game.
