Zip Without Meite’s goals and Barrow’s assists we would be playing Accrington this season.

Yep, and quite a few in here (not just twitter) wanna sell Barrow.
Has Barrow tweeted anything?

Not that I am aware of. Barrow’s goals and assists record is very healthy considering he has been playing in a struggling side.

Thx Zip, I’m not on Twitter.
FWIW, I’d keep both. Gomes improved Barrow, would like full season. May not happen.

It was a fair tweet to make, both have performed well in a struggling side and some supporters are quick to forget it. It'll be interesting to see how they react to the increased competition and opportunity. And fortunately I don't think that Meite is one to shy away from a challenge.

Oilroyal The tweets about outgoing players now deemed by some fans as being out of favour were crass at best. Players would have spent the last couple of days seeing new signing coming in followed by a shedload of tweets by so called fans disregarding existing players as if they were used toilet paper. Most of us would find it hard not to react or be protective of our friends under the same circumstances.
Fair to say, “You have a short memory bro” was a polite response.

URZZZZ
NewCorkSeth It was a nothing tweet. Dont know how people read into it poorly. I thought it was about people saying they are happy Barrow is going and he was saying how well Barrow did.

Well, given he deleted it pretty quickly, don't think it was a "nothing" tweet. Given how poor and disjointed our attack looked most times last season, not sure he has the grounds to criticize

I think Zip sums it up pretty nicely. Without Meite and Barrow last season we would be in league 1. Now, on social media, fans are sharing teams that include neither Meite nor Barrow in the starting XI. That does show short memories to me. I mean Meite just scored his first of the season and made the Whoscored team of the week. Until his form drops off he has every right to be a bit pissy with fans wanting him replaced.

Anyone else think Meite is a bit of a Chap and totally rooting for him? I'm hoping he finally smashes it this season!

I think Meite will get plenty of football this season, even with the new signings. I’m not convinced Joao is a cold, windy Tuesday night in Stoke kind of guy. Yakou is

Great work rate. Great song. Great attitude.

Loved him in the South last season too.

Could be a legend in the making.

Zip Without Meite’s goals and Barrow’s assists we would be playing Accrington this season.

I'd imagine any team playing with 9 men would struggle.
