Disappointed to be missing this. I think it'll be a cracker.

My Old Man was born in a house in Charlton Lane backing onto what was then the mahoosive Sam Bartram terrace. He was a lifelong Addick and one of the last days we had together, I drove him to see the Thames Barrage and then a tedious nil all draw with Bury at the Valley.

Have rampant Royals to win this in my acca - along with Ipswich, Plymouth and Woking.

I was at Bury in the early 80's when we won for the first time in about 70 years thanks in part to at least one or two goals from the late Dean Horrix. Did he score one or two that day...?

Because of that 3-2 win I have always has a slight soft spot for Bury they remind me of a northern version of what we were when I first started watching Reading.

For those reasons I carry empathy with fellow supporters and will clap for them and maybe a few for Deano too...

I hope they come back to the league soon.. it's sad seeing clubs I remember Reading playing against when I first started watching Reading leave the league in this way.

As for today, am really looking forward to this game...

Can we also have a minute's clapping for Newport County 1989.

Hell, let's just clap for the whole game to cover all the bases.

I am not glad Bury went out of business, but, frankly, the clapping
stuff is a bit "too-easy" like pressing "LIKE" on Facebook when someone
says "Don't Bomb Syria"

If you want to clap, why not send a fiver to Bury Supporters Club
to help them rebuild?

Professional FL clubs go out of business very rarely. Bury was expelled this week.

If I see a Bury fan based campaign to start up a Phoenix club through a reasonably secure system I'll absolutely stick money in. Likewise Bolton if they go.

Lots of attention seeking Nancy's with daddy issues in town. Football and that just doesn't mix.

Home debut for McIntyre then.

Rafael, Yiadom, Moore, Morrison, McIntyre, Richards, Pele, Swift, Ejaria, Puscas, Joao

Virginia, Rinomhota, Osho, Adam, Meite, Boye, Barrett

Good to see Barrett on the bench, though defensive back up looks light. I'd continue to prefer Olise to Adam.

Strong line up.

elrey Sad, very sad. Bury are part of something different. Bury are part of what makes football in the UK.

You don't have to have a minutes silence for Bury, have one for the destruction of football.

Man Utd, Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs etc are all part of the international jetsetting multi-billion pound industry that has taken over from real football.

You have Chinese people running and supporting these teams for christ's sake.

Bury didn't find a Chinese buyer?

Looking good on the ball so far

Should have scored the one that hit the crossbar as Charlton look like they've got a goal in them.

We've shaded it, without having many efforts on target.

Yes, Charlton playing it around well and look dangerous.

Lot's of fouls, ref struggling to control it.

Right on HT, Puscas one on one with keeper, good save, but he has to bury that really.

Charlton impressive, had more possession than us, passed it around well, also done the niggly/dirty stuff too.
