SCIAG Jazz Richards

I swear this guy only ever appears for the national team and has never played for a club. A total fraud of a footballer.

Last meaningful contribution to appearances - Cardiff 16/17 season with 28.

Very late to the party but just realised Puscas is playing against Spain on Sky. Got someone sent off apparently

Maybe that’s why he missed the header at the end :)

Was very encouraged from the ten mins or so I watched tbh

Anyone have any link (not sky or BT) to Puşcaş' shots at the end of the game?

Cheers but they are both sky highlights which are restricted here in France so I cant watch them.

ah right got you.

Well, in the absence of clips - things that were of interest:
Puscas - firm header back across goal from a long cross to create the assist
Good run bustling passed 2 defenders before being brought down on the edge of the box (wasn't actually a foul but whatevs) for the sending off
Strong firm downward header from a very good cross which was superbly saved by Kepa. Arguably could have directed the header a bit better but prob a bit harsh to say that

anyway, he looked decent.

Noticed that McIntyre wasn't involved at all, not even on the bench, for Scotland u21s yesterday, which was odd. Hope he hasn't picked up an injury.

Yeah nice header. Reckon we should be putting a few more crosses in for him watching his chances in these 2 games

He wasn’t involved in the squad this time. Don’t believe he has an injury.

Yeah but were not great at corners are we? And the only wide players we have are Yiadom and Richards (who are both decent crosses imo) who both cross from deep or on the break. Hes not going to get many opportunities to get a free header with us.

There are those situations we find ourselves in fairly frequently where we are on one side of the opposition box with our wing back, Swift and Ejaria however we turn very few of those situations into crosses. Usually we play it central or Swift/Ejaria go on a run into the box (Richards is quite good at this too).

nope fair points, and don't disagree. Swift going out wide as per Puscas goal at Cardiff is possibly the best chance of a decent cross into the box

But yeah, was thinking much the same. Not really playing to one of Puscas big strength's based on those couple of International efforts

Well if we practise some oxf*rd corners then we have a fair amount of players capable of threatening. Morrison obviously knows how to knock em in. Joao, Miazga, Moore, McIntyre and Blackett are all tall and strong. Ejaria and Pele are tall enough too.

Gomes if your reading this pal, take corners seriously.
